New Zealand produced a stirring second half come-back to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series against England with a narrow victory in Dunedin.

Marland Yarde's first half try had England 10-6 ahead at the break, as Aaron Cruden's penalties crucially kept the All Blacks in touch.

And it was to prove decisive as New Zealand ran in three second half tries through Ben Smith, Julian Savea and Ma'a Nonu, and though Mike Brown and replacement Chris Ashton struck late for England, it was enough to secure the series victory after last weekend's last-gasp victory in Auckland.

While England coach Stuart Lancaster will have been encouraged by another impressive display from his young side, questions will be asked over their inability to convert their first half dominance into points.

Though Yarde did score England's first try of the tour, Manu Tuilagi's inability to finish from a breakaway meant the tourists were ruing only leading by four come half time, and they would live to regret their failure to be more clinical.

The victory and the series was secured as Nonu weaved in and out of England defenders to go over in the corner. Brown's scrappy finish meant some respectability was attached to the score before Ashton's try in the final minute mean Lancaster will wonder what if after another exhilarating Test match.
