Overview
New Zealand became the first team to qualify for the knock out stages of the World Cup after winning the first five group stage fixtures. They will play their last Group A clash against Bangladesh on Friday.
They are one of the two teams in this tournament to have bowled out the opposition as they have taken 50 wickets from five matches. Trent Boult and Tim Southee have picked up 13 wickets each, while Daniel Vettori has managed 12 wickets.
A win against Bangladesh on Friday will help the co-host make it six wins in a row.
Meanwhile, the Tigers have made it to the quarter finals of the World Cup for the first time after their victory over England on Monday. The win also saw Bangladesh knock the Three Lions out of the tournament.
A win over the Black Caps will help Bangladesh finish above Australia, if they suffer a defeat in their last Group A clash.
