The game between Pakistan and West Indies is very crucial for both sides as the winner of this tie will make it to the last four of the T20 World Cup. The team which comes out victorious will finish second in Group 2, behind league leaders India, who have managed to win all four Super 10 matches.

The winner of the match between Pakistan and West Indies will face Group 1 leaders Sri Lanka in the semi-final. The Lankans went on top of the table after their impressive win over New Zealand on Monday.

Pakistan come into this game after registering a comfortable 50-run victory over host nation Bangladesh on Sunday. Mohammad Hafeez won the toss and elected to bat. They posted a total of 190 runs, with Ahmed Shehzad becoming the first Pakistani batsman to score a century in the shorter format of the game.
