Paris Hilton death threats: Anti-Semitic man 'threatening to kill heiress in a month'
Police are on the hunt for a man threatening to kill socialite Paris Hilton, TMZ reports.
According to the celebrity news site, the unidentified aggressor is convinced that the 33-year-old heiress is Jewish and has posted several abusive and anti-Semitic messages aimed at the former reality star on Instagram and Facebook.
In one of the menacing messages, the man is said to have declared that he "kill Jews for fun," and claimed that he would murder Hilton in a month.
During his campaign of harassment and intimidation, the man is believed to have also targeted the House of Wax actress's father, Richard Hilton and also allegedly threatened to sexually assault the star.
Although the Los Angeles Police Department have yet to confirm the culprit's identity, law enforcement sources claim a warrant has already been issued for his arrest. He is expected to be taken into custody after all verification procedures are completed.
While Hilton has yet to comment on the reported death threats, this is not the first time she has been targeted by trolls.
In 2007, before serving a jail term for violating probation in a DUI case, she received threats to her life.
"These maniacs have been writing, 'We're going to get you,' and, 'I'm going to kill you.' It's horrifying," an insider said at the time.
Hilton's 45-day jail term was eventually reduced due to good behaviour.
But it looks like Hilton was not letting anything get to her when she arrived in LAX airport in good spirits earlier this week.
She wore a monochrome jumpsuit and accessorised with a bright smile as she made her way out of the airport with her dog.
