Pokemon Sun and Moon demo leaks final starter evolutions, Alolan versions and Pikachu in a hat
Sun and Moon's complete Pokedex appears to have leaked.
The demo for Pokémon Sun and Moon released has revealed more about the upcoming RPG than The Pokémon Company and Game Freak would have liked. Having datamined the demo, one fan has uncovered a host of new Pokémon including the final forms of the game's three starters.
Not only have those three leaked, but seemingly the entire remaining Pokédex has been leaked via YouTuber Kaphotics, revealing new Alolan forms, new Ultra Beasts and other evolutions that haven't yet been officially revealed.
Here you'll find our round-up of every new Pokémon revealed officially for Pokémon Sun and Moon so far. We'll update this with official artwork once The Pokémon Company elects to confirm the leaks below.
The datamine has revealed the final evolutions of the game's starters, confirming a leak from a few months ago. Their names were not revealed.
Kaphotics found pre-evolutions of the game's two legendary Pokémon (and cover stars) Solgaleo and Lunala. This is a first for Legendaries in the series. Another version of mythical Pokémon Magearna was also found.
A total of eight Ultra Beasts were spotted too, but what exactly these creatures are (are they even classed as Pokémon?) isn't entirely clear yet.
The new Alolan forms of original, first generation Pokémon include versions of Diglet and Dugtrio with hair, a chubby version of Meowth evolution Persian, and Geodude, Graveler and Golem with bushy eyebrows and a beard. What even is this game?
Six versions of Pikachu were also datamined from the Pokédex, each wearing a different baseball cap. It's not clear how these versions factor into the game. A large number of other "shiny" sprites were also found, and were detailed in the videos below.
Pokémon Sun and Moon will be released for Nintendo 3DS on 18 November.
