Power season 3: 50 Cent shares premiere update and expresses displeasure over Golden Globe snub
Despite being one of the most popular shows on Starz, the makers are doing a surprisingly good job of keeping spoilers on the eagerly-awaited season 3 of Power, at bay. So while filming for the new season is underway, fans are quite clueless about what to expect when the new episodes air.
However, Power showrunner 50 Cent posted a big update about the show on his Instagram account recently, revealing that season 3 will premiere in June. "50centBack to New York to work on the TV show people seem to like, POWER returns in June," he captioned the post.
In related news, 2016's PaleyFest will include Power as one of the early panels. On 20 March Curtis 50 Cent Jackson along with other cast members Omari Hardwick, Lela Loren, Naturi Naughton, Joseph Sikora, and executive producer Courtney Kemp Agboh will be present at the event. Lots of exciting new details and footage on season 3 are expected to be showcased during the panel.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent expressed his displeasure about the Golden Globes snubbing the cast of Power. Early in the week, the American rapper sounded off on Instagram revealing that the cast had not been invited to the Golden Globes, and that is why they were not present at the event. He posted the following image of an angry Omari Hardwick (who plays Ghost on Power).
