'Predatory' teacher who had threesome in a car with underage pupils jailed for two years

A married Canadian teacher who sent nude images to eight pupils before having sex with three of them has been jailed for two years.

French teacher Jaclyn McLaren even had a threesome with two of the boys, performing oral sex on them in her car after drinking beer and sending other boys pictures of her genitals.

Labelled a "predator" by one of the victim's parents she originally faced 42 charges involving boys as young as 13, with six of them her students between 2013 and last year.

But in March she pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual exploitation, two counts of luring, possession of child pornography and making explicit material available to people under 18 and people under 16.

She was handed her prison sentence on Friday (19 May) and told she must serve two years probation after her release and register as a sex offender for the rest of her life.

McLaren was also prohibited from having any contact with the victims and their families and barred from areas near playgrounds where children could be present for 10 years, after she leaves prison.

Her crimes stem from as early as 2013 when she was allegedly blackmailed into sending pupils naked photos and videos of her breasts and vagina after one student found them on her phone whilst he was using it.

Despite being warned previously to stop having students as social media friends she persisted and sent lude pictures of herself through Snapchat in the summer of 2014.

McLaren was said to have expressed concern at one point about losing her job at Tweed Elementary, Ontario, if the exchanges came to light, the court heard.

In the most shocking incident in 2014 McLaren "purchased beer and consumed it with two boys, then engaged in sexual activity with them in her vehicle," assistant Crown attorney Lynn Ross said according to the Toronto Sun. "She performed oral sex on both boys before she left."

The court had heard that McLaren had performed oral sex on the boys on separate occasions afterwards.

Another pupil reported trading explicit photos with McLaren in 2013, when he was just 15, then three years later they had sex at her home, just after he turned 18, court heard.

The boy's identity cannot be named but one mother of a now 17-year-old boy said: "Not once did it cross my mind that I would be delivering my son to a predator.

"I'm completely disgusted. It sickens me."
