Prince Philip celebrates his 93rd birthday today. He is both the longest-serving and oldest spouse of a reigning British monarch. He is also the oldest living male member of any British royal family
To mark the occasion, IBTimes UK present a pictorial look back at his life with the Queen. We begin with his engagement to Princess Elizabeth just after the second world war, and end with the events commemorating the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
