Queen Letizia of Spain is a vision in recycled Hugo Boss floral dress at military event
Spanish monarch accompanies her husband, King Felipe VI, to the Military Academy in Spain.
Queen Letizia looked like a midsummer dream in an elegant floral dress at a military event held in the Spanish city of Zaragoza on Thursday (14 July).
The 43-year-old monarch accompanied her husband, King Felipe VI of Spain, at the delivery of Royal offices of employment at the Military Academy on a scorching hot day in a recycled Hugo Boss knee-length dress featuring large rose print.
Letizia, mother of Leonor, Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofía of Spain, wore the same design in 2014 at an art exhibition in Madrid.
This time, the former news anchor gave her look a mature and sophisticated spin with hair styled in a chic updo while accessorising with nude stilettos, a matching clutch by her favourite Spanish designer, Felipe Varela, and a waist belt to highlight her svelte physique.
Her make-up was fresh and natural with subtle rosy cheeks and light pink lip gloss, complimenting the pink and neutral toned outfit. She completed the look with a pair of flower-shaped earrings.
Her husband of 16 years, since their wedding in 2004, King Felipe honoured the graduation ceremony of the Spanish Army, Civil Guard and Armed Forces new Officers by wearing his military uniform.
The royal couple are often seen laughing and joking in public, but appeared sterner for today's event, most likely in keeping with the formality of the affair. A few pictures show Letizia linking arms with her husband during the ceremony.
During the event, the royals shook hands with the new graduates and senior military officials before the new officers flung their hats in the air to mark their achievement.
