Rebecca Minnock: Grandmother of missing boy Ethan Williams jailed for lying about his whereabouts
The grandmother of missing boy Ethan Williams has been jailed for 10 days after lying about his disappearance.
Louise Minnock has been served with a court order to hand over the three-year-old after he vanished with his mother Rebecca, 35.
Her partner Andrew Butt has also been sentenced for 28 days for contempt of court after pleading no knowledge of their whereabouts.
According to Sky News, he allegedly told police during an interview on Wednesday, (10 June): "Me and my family would all rather do 10 years in prison rather than tell you where they are."
The pair have been missing since May 26 after they were last seen near Musgrove Park Hospital, in Taunton.
Rebecca, known as Becky, was initially warned an impending judge's ruling would grant custody of the son to his father Roger Williams. The judge said the three-year-old was exposed to "emotional harm" by his mother and had breached previous court orders.
