American restaurant TGI Friday's are to launch the UK's first 'mistletoe drones', which will fly around their restaurants in a bid to encourage customers to kiss each other.
Operated by a member of staff, the mistletoe carrying drones are also equipped with a 'kiss cam' that will capture customers in the restaurant puckering up from above.
The company says that the introduction of the drones was inspired by the fact that half of UK adults have never shared a kiss under the mistletoe.
TGI Fridays in Manchester's Royal Exchange will be the first restaurant to feature the drones, before they are rolled out to branches across the country over the Christmas period.
