Roger Federer takes on Stanislas Wawrinka in an all-Swiss final of the 2014 Monte-Carlo Masters at the Court Central in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France, on Sunday.

Overview

Federer was handed the task of beating defending Monte-Carlo Masters champion and World No 2, Novak Djokovic in the semi-final and the 17-time Grand Slam winner did so without dropping a set on Saturday.

The World No 4 sent the Serbian packing out of the competition in 75 minutes winning, 7-5, 6-2, in straight sets.

The 32-year-old progressed into the final in Monte-Carlo for the fourth time in his career and must defeat his compatriot, Wawrinka if he intends to lift the trophy for the first time.

Wawrinka ousted World No 6, David Ferrer in the other semi-final on Saturday. The 2014 Australian Open winner needed 90 minutes to beat the Spaniard, 6-1, 7-6(3). The World No 3 is looking to win his first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Title.
