Ryan Lochte performs racy strip salsa with partner Cheryl Burke in Dancing With The Stars

The Latin Night special Dancing With The Stars season 23 offered plenty of racy moments throughout the episode. But more than the audience and the judges, it was one controversial celebrity contestant who grabbed a lot of attention during his performance.

Controversial Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte and his dancing partner Cheryl Burke gave an extremely uninhibited performance as they grooved to La Negra Tiene Tumbao by Celia Cruz. However, their dance took a suggestive turn when Lochte stripped off his clothes one by one raising the temperature on the dance floor.

While they were unable to impress the judges with their strip salsa, show host Tom Bergeron noticed the Olympic gold medal winner's excitement and said: "I am feeling overdressed".

Burke replied: "I'll cover him up a little."

"Alright, we don't want to see how excited he is about the comments," Bergeron said as Lochte stood near naked waiting for the judges' comments.

The couple scored 30 out of 40 but were saved from eviction. The 32-year-old American competitive swimmer's fans were quick to express their feelings on Twitter soon after his performance. "How come @RyanLochte can look so incredibly hot and adorably awkward at the same time doing a salsa dance," one fan wrote.

Lochte got engaged earlier this month to girlfriend Kayla Rae Reid and told ET Online: "This is what I've been wanting my entire life: to have a family of my own and to find that right one. I finally found her and I'm just so excited!"
