Speculation Peaks on Samsung Galaxy S3 Release Date
The Samsung Galaxy S3, the most awaited smartphone by tech fans, will be launched on 22 May, according to a leaked press invite. Amid silence by the Korean giant, there has been a lot of speculation on the internet about the launch date, but the latest seems to be the real one. According to the media invitation, the device will be launched in London.
According to AsiaE, the Galaxy S3 has undergone a carrier network interworking test. The company would like to boost the process for the device which usually requires two months. Probably, Samsung wants to beat Apple by releasing the Galaxy S3 before the iPhone.
What can you expect from the Galaxy S3?
[1] Display
According to Korean website DDaily, the Galaxy S3 will come with a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED Plus Display with a whopping resolution of 1280x720 pixels. According to TheVerge, the Smartphone would be the first non-PenTile phone display which will offer HD resolution.
[2] Wireless Charging
According to DDaily, the Galaxy S3 could bump up with wireless charging technology. However, it could eliminate the wires and introduce built-in inductive charger. It likely to charge the device even when it is 1-2 metres away from the charger base.
[3] Camera
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is expected to come with an outstanding 12-megapixel rear-camera. It could provide full HD video recording of 1080p.
[4] 4G and NFC
The Galaxy S3 is rumoured to be 4G-enabled and having Near Field Communication (NFC).
