Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition Spotted Running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean [PHOTOS]
Leaked screenshots of the Galaxy S4 Google Edition have surfaced online running on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. Google unvieled its Google Edition for both Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One on 26 June at the Google I/O event held in May.
Codenamed GT-I9505G, the Samsung handset is expected to be powered by Snapdragon CPU processor, according to Sam Mobile. The device is speculated to get Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update by July. According to Trusted Reviews, LlabTooFer tweeted that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is expected to be available in July.
The detailed features of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean have not been revealed yet. However, the leaked screenshots suggest an upgrade in camera application interface with a circular menu layout. The circular layout features camera setting buttons like brightness controller, flash and others in a compact space on the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a 5in screen with full HD Super AMOLED display with 441 pixels per inch (ppi) pixel density. The handset comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. The device can record and playback videos in full HD @ 30 frames per second (fps).
The handset is powered by 1.9 GHz quad-core or 1.6 GHz Octa-core processor depending on the market where the device is sold. The device comes in 16, 32 and 64 GB storage variants along with a microSD expansion slot supporting up to 64 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition carries a price tag of £581.92 (with shipping charges) on Google online shopping store.
