Savile abuse: 'Turned up at hospital with girls'
Terry Pratt a former Hospital Porter from Leeds General Hospital told the BBC about the suspicious behaviour of Jimmy Savile which he saw, while working at the Leeds Hospital.
He said, "Savile would go up and see the lad on the desk [and he would say 'Here's the key Jim, make sure I get it back.' He'd take the key and the two of them would look through the doorway... he would walk out and the two women would follow him towards the nurses' home,"
He said Savile would pay these late-night visits several times a month, with different girls, asking for the key to the accommodation block. He would arrive at about 01:00 or 02:00, spend a few hours there and drop the key back about 05:00.
Leeds General Infirmary said there were no records of complaints against Savile during the time he was working there adding it "continues to be shocked by each new allegation" and was helping police with their investigation.
Savile was well known at Leeds General Infirmary and other hospitals where he worked as a fundraiser and porter volunteer. But as Police, investigate over 300 claims of sexual abuse committed by the predatory paedophile. It is highly likely that people who saw Savile's abuse of sick and vulnerable children will now come forward to report what they saw.
