Selena Gomez 'Planning' To Buy House Close To Justin Bieber's in California

Pop star Selena Gomez is reportedly planning to purchase a new home in Calabasas, California, where on/off boyfriend Justin Bieber's mansion is located.

"Selena is very close to making an offer on a house inside the Calabasas development where Justin lives," a source told Life & Style magazine.

"She looked at other neighborhoods, but really fell in love with a home near Justin's." The insider added: "Selena's definitely happy she isn't with Justin anymore."

Gomez broke up with Bieber in January, but he set tongues wagging after posting an intimate photograph of himself with the former Disney star, sparking speculation of a possible reunion. The two were also spotted giving each other a kiss on the cheek while meeting up backstage at the Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on 19 May in Las Vegas.

It was recently revealed that the 20-year-old Gomez is still in touch with Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette.

"Selena isn't talking to Justin but she is still in contact with his mom," a source close to the Come and Get It singer told Hollywood Life.

"Justin's mom loves Selena and really wants her and Justin to get back together because she thinks it would be the best thing for her son."

Previously, in an interview with InStyle magazine, Gomez opened up about her relationship with Bieber and said the time spent with the Boyfriend singer was far from a fairytale romance.

"It's uncomfortable that everywhere I go, people know. I don't like that," she said, adding: "But Justin and I never really focused on the attention. You can't help who you date. So I wouldn't swear off that or say that's what I want again."
