Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Gwendoline Christie go summer glam for Game of Thrones season 7 premiere

Winter may have come to the Seven Kingdoms but the stars of Game of Thrones were able to enjoy some time in the sun at the premiere of season 7 of the show.

Three days ahead of its television debut, the show's actors, both past and present, walked the red carpet at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles on 12 July (Wednesday).

Summer glam was the theme of the evening, with Gwendoline Christie (who plays the character of Brianne of Tarth) wowing the crowd in an embellished silver sheer gown with a plunging neckline.

Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) also went retro in an emerald green slip dress with a low back and thigh-high side split. Her co-star and onscreen sister Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) opted for a more casual sequinned Louis Vuitton mini.

Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and his girlfriend, former GoT actor, Rose Leslie cut a cute picture on the red carpet as they posed arm-in-arm. Leslie wore a floor-length green and black Erdem gown while Harington went all black with a jacquard jacket and black loafers.

Ian Glen, who plays Ser Jorah Mormont on the show, decided to show off his Scottish heritage – opting for a traditional kilt and knee-high socks.

While the evening was missing lead stars Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), other cast members who did grace the event included Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark), Jerome Flynn (Bronn), John Bradley (Sam Tarly), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) and Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) among others.
