Every Star Wars fan has dreamed that they could one day fly the Millennium Falcon. Now, a crafty hobbyist in Grenoble, France has made that dream a reality after building a homemade Millennium Falcon drone and successfully flying it through the sky.

Drone enthusiast Olivier C posted a video to YouTube which shows his DIY Millennium Falcon take off and soar above a snowy landscape. He has also posted step-by-step instructions on how he constructed the vehicle, which in the film series is piloted by Han Solo.

But don't expect to fly it across galaxies far, far away. Olivier admitted that with the custom-built body the drone can only travel at speeds of up to 30 kmph, and that battery life is reduced to around five minutes.
