Supermodel Gisele Bündchen Sizzles in New David Yurman Campaign
After dazzling the red carpet at the 2012 Met gala in a Givenchy dress and shoes, supermodel and Victoria's Secret Angel Gisele Bundchen's new advertisement campaign images for luxury designer David Yurman have been released.
The 31-year-old supermodel posed in a series of striking black and white images for the luxe brand for renowned photographer Peter Lindbergh.
The location was Malibu and Gisele was seen posing in a string bikini and a wetsuit against the scenic beach backdrop.
The Daily Mail reported that it was hard for the jewels to compete with the Brazilian supermodel's sublime figure, but she certainly did a good job of showcasing them. She was literally dripping in gold and silver chains, which were strung several times around her neck. Gisele struck several energetic poses for the snaps, with her long beach hair being swept away with the air of wind fan.
With her minimal makeup and flawless skin, one of the campaign images featured Gisele in a jean jacket and showing off Yurman's signature bracelets and rings.
Apparently, this is not the first time the stunning model has been seen in Yurman's collections. During the Met event, Bündchen complemented her Givenchy dress with a Yurman barbed wire single stud earring, starlight band ring and midnight mélange xs hoop earrings.
Bundchen and her husband Tom Brady attended the Met event with Brady styled in an exclusive Tom Ford tuxedo.
This year's Costume Institute Gala Benefit celebrates the opening of the Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibition.
Bundchen is the first in a wave of Brazilian models to find international success within the fashion industry. In 1999, Vogue magazine dubbed her The Return of the Sexy Model and she was credited with ending the "heroin chic" era of modelling.
Since 2004, she has been the highest-paid model in the world and one of the richest women in the entertainment industry with an estimated £353million fortune.
