Pakistan will have revenge on their minds when they face Bangladesh in the second match of the ICC World T20's Super 10 stage at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on 16 March.
The 2009 world T20 champions were beaten by Bangladesh in the recently-concluded Asia Cup, in which they also lost to arch-rivals India. However, Shahid Afridi's side bounced back by clinching a six-wicket win over Sri Lanka in their final group match of the tournament and are backed at 4/7 by Betfair to get their World T20 campaign off to a winning start at Eden Gardens.
Bangladesh come into this tournament on a high after a hugely positive showing in the Asia Cup. Capable with both the bat and ball, the Bangladeshis can topple any team on their day and are priced at 13/8 to prevail against their old rivals.
Recalled opener Ahmed Shehzad is backed 3/1 to be the leading run scorer for Pakistan, while experienced opener Tamim Iqbal is priced at 12/5 to lead the run charts for Bangladesh.
After a string of impressive performances in the Asia Cup, Mohammad Amir is unsurprisingly backed at 12/5 to be the leading wicket-taker for Pakistan. Mohammad Irfan and Wahab Riaz are both priced at 7/2 to top the wickets column.
