Overview
The two London clubs face each other in the Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon. Tottenham face local rivals in less than a week's time after their last encounter against Chelsea saw them suffer a 3-0 defeat.
Mauricio Pochettino is aware that getting points against Palace will be quite crucial for his side as they head into a busy schedule during the festive season. In the last five matches played in all competitions, Tottenham have managed three wins.
Palace saw them suffer a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of Aston Villa at home. Christian Benteke's goal was the difference between the two sides at the end as the Eagles suffered yet another defeat in the league.
In the last five matches, they have managed to win only one match and recent form will be a matter of worry for Palace manager Neil Warnock. Tottenham are 10th in the table with 20 points after 134 games, while Palace are seven points behind them in the 15th spot.
What Managers Say
Mauricio Pochettino: "I have a very good memory of him. It was a very funny moment against Everton. 'Where is Punch?' Punch had gone to the toilet. It is very funny and I have a very good relationship with him. He is a fantastic guy and a very good player."
Neil Warnock: ""I thought they (Tottenham) played ever so well against Everton in the last home match and 20 minutes the other night (at Chelsea). I don't think 3-0 was a true reflection. Every game is difficult in this league and when you go to one of the top-half sides expectations are far greater with all the home teams, but we have to compete and try and give them a good game like we did at Swansea."
