Tottenham and Liverpool face long Europa League trips while Celtic await Ajax and Fenerbahce test
Tottenham Hotspur face a long trip to Azerbaijan after being drawn alongside Qarabag FK in their Europa League group.
The north Londoners have also been drawn in the same group as Ligue 1 side Monaco, who ended Arsenal's Champions League campaign at the last-16 stage last season and narrowly missed out on the competition in the qualifiers this term. Belgian giants Anderlecht also feature in their group.
Liverpool, who were seeded in Pot 2 for Friday's draw, managed to avoid the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Schalke and Ajax but will travel to Russia to take on Rubin Kazan. Bordeaux and FC Sion of Switzerland make up the rest of their group.
Celtic, who dropped into the Europa League following their Champions League play-off defeat on Tuesday, have been handed a very difficult group alongside Ajax, Fenerbahce and Molde, three teams who also started their seasons in the Champions League qualifying phase.
