The truth behind those Brad Pitt dating Charlotte Casiraghi rumours revealed

Brad Pitt has been linked with a bevy of beauties since his split with Angelina Jolie in September 2016. And now a report claiming that the Allied star is dating Charlotte Casiraghi has taken the Internet by storm.

The report from New Idea claims that Pitt has been seeing the Princess of Monaco for more than a month, with a source telling the website the two were "inseparable" when they attended an event at the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art last week.

"No one could believe it when we saw them together," the source said. "There have been rumours circulating for weeks that Brad has moved on with a new woman, but no one was ready to see him hand-in-hand with royalty from Monaco."

So, is Pitt dating Casiraghi?

The report from New Idea has been rubbished, with a source close to Pitt telling The Sun that the story about the actor seeing the granddaughter of the late Grace Kelly is "totally false".

Earlier, Pitt and Kate Hudson were also linked as a couple following the actor's split with Jolie.

"Kate is Brad's mystery woman. They've become extremely close over the past few weeks, following several secret meet-ups," an alleged source told Women's Day at the time.

Kris Herzog, who has worked as a security guard for both Pitt and Jolie, reportedly told the website, "I know both Kate and Brad, and it wouldn't surprise me at 
all if they were dating!"

However, the dating claims were later rubbished by the actress herself, saying it was "the craziest rumour of all time". "There's nothing true to that," Hudson said on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

Hudson also revealed that she has not seen Pitt, 53, in "like, four years".

"It was kind of an awesome rumour," Hudson joked. "I kind of liked it. I was like, 'Okay, fine... we're having twins!'"
