While attending the European premiere of his new film, Abduction, earlier this week, American actor Taylor Lautner had a startling revelation to make - apparently he has quite a crush on British singer Cheryl Cole.

More specifically, when quizzed by AOL Celebrity UK about who he has the hots for, Lautner gushed: "Ah, Cheryl Cole, absolutely. I'm a huge fan of hers."

He isn't alone. Cheryl has a long list of admirers, including teenage heartthrob Justin Bieber.

Recently, Taylor made no bones about the fact that he was worried of being typecast, following his depiction of Jacob in the twilight series.

"I think anyone who does some kind of franchise is worried about it, so I'm thankful that hasn't happened. We've all been able to work between the Twilight movies," he was quoted saying Heat magazine.

Taylor and co-star Lily Collins, the two of whom had called off their relationship sometime ago, were in Spain, for the premier of Abduction.

In addition, Taylor also claims that he's still shocked by his heartthrob status. He said he couldn't believe the turnout of British fans at the premiere, many of whom had been waiting for hours together, in the rain, to catch a glimpse of him.

"I don't even know the words to describe this. It's unbelievable, it continues to blow my mind every time I see it," he said.
