UK terror arrest: Stockwell man Mustafa Abdullah charged with 13 terrorism offences
Suspected terrorist Mustafa Abdullah is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court after being charged with 13 offences.
The 33-year-old South Londoner, from Stockwell, has been charged with 13 terrorism offences following an investigation by officers from the Metropolitan Police Service's Counter Terrorism Command.
Abdullah was charged on 18 June with possession of an article, namely a firearm, in circumstances that give rise to a reasonable suspicion that his possession was for a purpose connected with the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism. He was also charged with 12 counts of collecting records of information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on the afternoon of 19 June.
