Usain Bolt, the world's fastest man, has joined the long line of potential suitors vying for Rihanna's heart.

The Olympic Gold medallist is chasing a date with the Diamonds singer after she posted a video of herself twerking online.

In the 30-second clip, RiRi can be seen shaking what her mama gave her to T-Pain's Up Down backstage at her New Orleans concert. She is wearing just skin-tight leggings and a black bra.

Jamaican-born Bolt told fans that Chris Brown's former girlfriend had mesmerised him with her impressive moves.

"I clearly am in love frm this dancing," he tweeted.

"If ur not Caribbean u may not understand. #sexy #seriousface #inlove #needherinmylife #now."

He continued his campaign by professing his love for the Barbadian beauty in a video captured by TMZ.

"I'm in love with you. Hit me up Rihanna," he said.

In 2012, Bolt revealed that he considered Cheryl Cole and Rihanna to be the most beautiful women in the world.

"London has some really beautiful women, I can't help but notice them. Cheryl Cole is always in the media and I can see why. She is so beautiful," he said at the time.

"I think for me it is between her and Rihanna for the most beautiful woman in the world."
