Viola Davis teases 'unbelievable mystery' in How To Get Away With Murder season 3 premiere
How To Get Away With Murder season 3 returns on 22 September on ABC Network.
Viola Davis has shared some interesting details about How To Get Away With Murder season 3, which is set to premiere on 22 September on ABC Network. The Suicide Squad actress plays lawyer Annalise Keating on the ABC show.
Davis told E News at ABC's summer TCA party that "a mystery is going to be revealed in the first episode that is so big and so unbelievable I just think it's going to cost everyone something."
The 50-year-old actress further explained that the for every season leaves her shocked. "Every time I pick up a script, especially the first script of the season, I'm always shocked." According to the actress, her co-actors — who usually figure out the mystery — are all stumped this year.
"We have been sitting on set, all of us, in different groups, and just talking about the mystery that's going to be revealed. We cannot figure it out! Last year we could figure it out, especially Alfie Enoch," she revealed, and added, "They are just highly intelligent kids. But this year, cannot figure it out!"
HTGAWM creator Pete Nowalk also teased that season 3's mystery is the "biggest one yet". He said, "There's going to be a new mystery and you're not going to have to wait long to find out what that is. The first domino was Lila getting killed, so it all stems from there. A leads to B leads to C, and I think we're probably at D at this point and it's going to be the biggest one yet."
Season 2 of How To Get Away With Murder ended with Wes Gibbins's biological father, Wallace Mahoney, getting shot in the head. Also, Frank Delfino quit Annalise's team, after realising that he is the reason for Keating's accident, which resulted in her losing her unborn baby. Frank's whereabouts was left hanging at the end.
