Where to watch the Royals this month: From the Rio Olympics to the Russian Federation
While many of us are on holiday, the Royals have official engagements through the summer.
While everyone else may be heading off on summer holidays, there is no rest for the Royals and between the Olympic Games and Cowes Week in the Isle of Wight, August is shaping up to a very busy month. For those who are looking to catch a glimpse of Prince Philip or Princess Beatrice, make sure you add the following dates to you diary to be ahead of the game.

Princess Beatrice, the elder daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York, celebrates her 28th birthday.
As a member of the International Olympic Committee and president of the British Olympic Association, Princess Anne, The Princess Royal, has been in Rio de Janeiro for the past week for the XXXI Olympics Games and will remain there during the games.
Back in Britain, The Duke of Edinburgh who is an Admiral and member of the Royal Yacht Squadron will be in the Isle of Wight from 8 to 10 August for Cowes Week; the most anticipated event on the British sailing calendar.
The Earl of Wessex who is on the board of trustees for the The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, will be holding a meeting for the awards.

As patron of the Outward Bound Trust , the Duke of Edinburgh will be visiting the trust's Ullswater Centre in Watermillock, Penrith, Cumbria. The centre focuses on outdoor activities like kayaking, climbing and walking.

30-31 August 2016
The Princess Royal will be visiting Russia, representing HM The Queen at commemorative events on 30-31 August in Arkhangelsk, north west Russia accompanied by her husband Vice-Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence. The trip is to pay respect to the servicemen who gave their lives to provide vital supplies to the USSR on the Arctic Convoys that ran between August 1941 and May 1945 during the Second World War.
