Where to watch the royals this week: Prince Harry at WellChild and Prince Edward in North America
The colder weather is setting in but the royal diary is as busy as ever...
Following on from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's much publicised Canada visit, the Earl of Wessex is visiting tech hubs around the US before heading up to try the Great White North as well in this week's royal diary. Princess Anne has a full week of patrons' events and openings while Prince Harry attends the WellChild awards.

Monday - 3 October 2016
The Earl of Wessex is visiting Stanford in California, USA, in his capacity as chairman of the board of trustees for the Duke of Edinburgh International Award. On Monday he'll be at Stanford University, where he'll tour the campus and meet the college's president, he'll then attend meetings at the Hoover Institute before heading to Menlo Park to visit Facebook's headquarters and then ending with dinner in San Francisco.
Not travelling quite so far, Prince Harry will be attending the WellChild Awards as patron of the charity at the Dorchester Hotel.
Anne, The Princess Royal, as patron, is at the 30th Anniversary Conference of Youth Support Services in Worcester and then visiting the Longlands Group of Riding for the Disabled Association in Whitebourne for its 25th Anniversary.
Tuesday - 4 October 2016
Continuing his tech-filled trip around the States, The Earl of Wessex is visiting more HQs with Google's Self-Driving Car Project and the Apple HQ on Tuesday before attending a meeting at RSM US and another San Francisco dinner.
His wife, The Countess of Wessex, will attend the well-named Countess of Wessex Cup at RAF Wittering in Cambridgeshire in her capacity as sponsor of HMS DARING.
Grand Prior of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, The Duke of Gloucester, is installing Surgeon Rear Admiral Lionel Jarvis as Prior of England and the Islands at Priory Church in London's Clerkenwell.
As patron of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, The Princess Royal will attend the president's lecture and dinner in London.
Wednesday - 5 October 2016
Continuing a week of patron's duties, The Princess Royal will attend a ceremony of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine in Edinburgh; open a new TouchBase of Sense Scotland in Hamilton, Lanarkshire; and attend a dinner for Opportunity International UK in Perth.
The Duke of Gloucester will visit Oundle School in Oundle, Peterborough.
Opening The Mendip School in Shepton Mallet, will be the Countess of Wessex before attending the Bath and West Show in the same town.
Prince Edward, The Earl of Wessex, will continue his travels around North America by heading north to Canada, attending a lunch in Vancouver and dinner at Ruth Chris's Steakhouse in Edmonton, Alberta.
Thursday - 6 October 2016
The Earl of Wessex will stay in Edmonton to attend a meeting at the Chateau Lacombe Hotel and the Commonwealth Sports Summit at the same hotel. before a Commonwealth Games Federation reception at Edmonton City Hall and dinner at Madison Grill.
The Princess Royal will open Kinfauns Stables as President of the Riding for the Disabled Association in Kinfauns, Perth and Kinross and attend the graduation ceremony of Perth College of the University of the Highlands and Islands, of which she is chancellor.
