Wilfried Zaha rated a doubt for FA Cup Final and Joe Ledley is only '50/50' for Euro 2016
Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has revealed Wilfried Zaha is a major doubt for the FA Cup Final against Manchester United. The 23-year-old winger is currently sidelined with a muscular problem and the Palace boss has confessed he does not know if he will return in time for the showpiece occasion.
Zaha is set to miss Palace's last game of the Premier League season against Southampton at St Mary's Stadium. The England international faces a fitness battle to play against his former side at Wembley Stadium, too.
"Wilf is not going to make this fixture and we'll have to wait and see if he makes the cup final," Pardew said during a pre-match press conference, according to the club's official Twitter account. "This game is big for us as there could be a four place swing. We could finish 12th or 16th."
Pardew also revealed Joe Ledley is only "50/50" to make the Wales squad for Euro 2016, because of the broken leg he suffered in their recent win against Stoke City. "Joe Ledley's injury has been a blow to us this week. There's one or to we need to protect for this fixture," he said before the Eagles' last game of the season.
"Joe's injury is 50/50 but we're trying to help him as much as possible. He was disappointed but he's a strong character."
