Overview

Hosts Great Britain have had a difficult tournament so far failing to register a single win while also finding themselves at the bottom of the table with just one point from three games. Their 1-0 loss at the hands of New Zealand in the last game on 21 June has left them with virtually an impossible task for qualifying for the final of the event. Even a win in their last two games might not be enough for them to finish in the top two.

Their opponents the United States of America too are in the same boat, with them failing to win a single game so far. They too have just one point from three games but are just above the hosts on the points table due to a better goal difference. There were not a lot of hopes from team USA coming into the tournament with a finish in the top four being a massive achievement for them.
