Where to Watch Live
Play starts at 12pm GMT. Live coverage of Game 5 will be available on the official FIDE website.
Overview
After Game 4 on Wednesday ended in a draw, the score is now level at 2-2. There was a rest day between Game 4 and Game 5 and the World Chess Championship resumes on Friday.
Carlsen won Game 2, while Game 3 went in Anand's favour. The last game had seen both players had a chance to dominate the game at different intervals. However, neither of them were able to convert it into a win, thus forcing a draw.

A victory for either the World No 1 or the five-time world champion in Game 5 will help them take the much needed lead. Anand will be playing with white pieces as he started the event with the same.
Betting Odds (888Sport.com)
- Magnus Carlsen to win the championship: 2/9
- Viswanathan Anand to win the championship: 3
What Experts Say
P Harikrishna (India Grandmaster): "The next two games will be crucial for both the players. Anand plays white tomorrow (Friday). He won game 3 after a defeat and plays game 5 after a draw. If Anand approaches tomorrow's game as he did during third game (good home preparation, complicated position) it will have a pressure on Carlsen."
