Xperia Z4 (E6553) benchmark suggests 5.1in screen, Snapdragon 810, 20MP camera and 3GB RAM
The GFXBench, the well-known source for revealing technical specifications of unannounced devices, now has a Sony smartphone bearing model number E6553 in its database.
Sony's next-gen Xperia flagship, the Xperia Z4, appears with Android Lollipop operating system version 5.0.2 in the GFXBench site. The device features a 5.1in screen with standard resolution at 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chip featuring an octa-core processor, with quad-core ARM Cortex A57 and quad-core A53, will be the source of power for the Xperia Z4. The quad-core processor also integrates an Adreno 430 graphics unit and 3GB RAM. The smartphone will offer 32GB internal storage.
There will be a 20 megapixel rear snapper with camera technologies including autofocus, face detection, auto flash, HDR photo and touch focus, as well as a 5 megapixel selfie camera. Both cameras are capable of recording full HD video.
The specs listed in the GFXBench database match those seen in the Geekbench earlier.
The letter "E" in the model number (E6553) shows the year of manufacture. The model number of the Xperia Z3, released in 2014 was D6603 while for the Xperia Z it was C6603, which was released in 2012.
