Everybody knows that celebrities like to flash the cash, but US millionaire rapper 50 Cent took his love of money a step further by posting images of himself holding wads of cash on his Twitter page.

The 36-year-old hip hop star, born Curtis Jackson, can be seen posing in photos taken in his hotel room in Las Vegas with World Championship boxer and friend Floyd Mayweather.

The four images show the pair flaunting the cash in a series of comical poses, while 50 Cent playfully tucks cash under his hat and lines wads of dollar bills up the length of his arms.

"I was thinking I could make a lot of money one day," reads one caption.

He followed it with: "Then I got mad cause some chumps was hatin on me."

For his third caption he wrote: "So I joined a gang lol THE MONEY TEAM... We made it mom top of the world!!!!.( James cagney voice)lol."

The rapper was in Las Vegas to attend the Consumer Electronics Show, where he promoted his own brand of headphones.

The musician turned business mogul is said to be worth $400m (£259.6m), so the wads of cash on display were clearly just a drop in the ocean.
