AC Milan Defender Cool on Arsenal Transfer Talk
Out-of-favour left-back is expected to remain in Italy.
AC Milan left-back Taye Taiwo is unlikely to move to Arsenal during the January transfer window, according to the player's agent.
The Gunners' were one of a number of Premier League sides believed to be interested in the out-of-favour defender, who has played just four games in Serie A for Milan this season.
Reports earlier this week suggested Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was weighing up a loan move for the Nigeria international as he looks to reinforce his injury-ravaged defence.
However, Fabio Parisi, Taiwo's agent, told notiziariosportivo.com there had been no contact with Arsenal.
"At the moment there is no huge news about Nigerian players, with Arsenal there was only a rumour," Parisi told.
"I certainly don't know that Arsene Wenger is looking for a left-back but at this time there has not been any official offer [from Arsenal] at AC Milan."
