Adam Levine opens up about parenting for the first time, says 'it's a beautiful experience'

Adam Levine and wife Behati Prinsloo welcomed their daughter Dusty Rose Levine just three weeks ago. Since then the Lost Stars hitmaker has been enjoying being a father to his baby girl.

The Maroon 5 frontman has opened up about parenting, saying "it's a beautiful experience" during a chat on On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Thursday (13 October).

"I've been a parent for three weeks; what do I know? I don't know anything, but it's kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly," the 37-year-old singer said when the 41-year-old host asked him how he had been handling fatherhood. "There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on. It's a beautiful experience," Levine added.

Adam and the Victoria's Secret Angel model welcomed their first child together on 21 September. At that time he had revealed their newborn to the world via Instagram. The singer shared an adorable black and white photo of their newborn resting on his tattooed chest. "Dusty Rose Levine 9/21/16," the singer had captioned the photo. The new mother also shared the same photo on Instagram with the caption: "Words can't describe Dusty Rose Levine 9/21/16."

Right after Dusty was born, a source told E! News, "Behati and Adam are home with Dusty and they are completely attached to her. Family and close friends come over to see Dusty. Behati loves being a mom and can't wait to eventually expand the family more."

"Adam was in the delivery room holding Behati's hands. They both cried when she was born. Both families are there now. She is beautiful. She looks like Behati. They are both speechless on how this moment feels as new parents. Dusty is healthy, sweet and happy baby!" another source had said.

Adam and Behati got married in July 2014.
