Amitabh Bachchan Blogs on Aaradhya's Birthday, Posts Photos with Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai [PHOTOS]

Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan celebrated Aaradhya Bachchan's first birthday by dedicating a blog post to his granddaughter. The little girl was born on 16 November, in Mumbai, to Indian cinema's most famous couple - former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and actor Abhishek Bachchan. And in his post, Bachchan relived the memories of the day his granddaughter was born.

"We have stepped out for a day to celebrate the 1st birthday of our little one - Aaradhya !! It seems like just the other day we were all centered around the hospital corridor, waiting patiently for the news of the birth to come in, of the tough natural labor that Aishwarya was going through, and finally the hour of birth and the general excitement that followed," wrote the 70 year old actor.

"How an entire year has gone by is not known to us, but it has and has satisfactorily. God has been kind and gentle and we thank the Almighty for giving us this joy bundled as it were in soft and cradled condition," the senior actor, who refers to his granddaughter as "little one", continued.

The actor also took to Twitter and his official Facebook page, to thank his fans and followers for sending birthday wishes and posted photographs of Aaradhya with her parents, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

"It's a year since she was born, Aaradhya, and it just seems like it was the other day ... time has flown past ... and much has happened ... your blessings and love have been most appreciated and thanked for ... may you ever remain with us and her in love and in togetherness .. !!" he posted on Facebook.

"Aaradhya's 1st birthday !! Just family and the silence peace and quiet after many hectic evenings .. your blessings and love !!" he tweeted.
