Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Looks Stunning in Aqua-Green Indian Salwar Kameez [PHOTO]

Indian Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made sure all eyes were set on her when she displayed a much trimmer figure at the opening of a jewellery showroom in Surat city of Gujarat state in India.

The 39-year-old looked absolutely stunning as she arrived at the ceremony wearing an aqua-green traditional Indian Anarkali Salwar kameez with red border and delicate gold embroidery. She perfected her looks with light make-up, her hair left loose and gold ornaments.

Accompanying the former Miss World to the western part of the country was her 19-month-old daughter Aaradhya, who was spotted along with her mother in Surat airport before the inauguration.

Hundreds of fans waited outside the venue as the actress, sometimes referred to as one of the most beautiful women, made her way from her car to the showroom. An Indian express report says that the area saw traffic jam following the star's arrival in the city and police officials had to be deployed to manage the minor chaos.

Bachchan has certainly transformed herself ever since giving birth to daughter Aaradhya in November 2011. The Pride and prejudice actress was under a lot of pressure from media to bounce back into her pre-pregnancy shape immediately after giving birth.

However the actress, who claimed she to be in love with the phase of motherhood, denied to bow down to the public demand and took her own time to get back to shape.

Bachchan has not left fashion watchers disappointed during any of her public appearances this year, starting from Cannes to the recent inauguration in Surat.
