Amazon has apologised to a man in California after one of their delivery drivers defecated in front of his house while making a drop off.
Nemy Bautista said he shocked at the "disturbing" incident outside his house in Sacremento County which he managed to capture on his home security system.
The unidentified woman, who was contracted driver for Amazon, can be seen squatting by her vehicle during the day pulling up her trousers and driving away.
When Bautista returned home, he thought it was dog excrement at the end of his drive until he checked the video. He immediately contacted Amazon and demanded they clean up the mess.
In a complaint posted on their Facebook page, Bautista wrote: "Amazon.com Why is your driver squatting in-front of my house? Let me give you a hint ... he/she is not tying their shoes."
Speaking to Fox News, Bautista said that when someone eventually came round to his home around five hours later, the supervisor was unprepared to deal with the "package."
He added: "He didn't have any gloves, nothing. He grabbed a plastic bag to scoop it up and I told him he couldn't put it my [trash] can. I didn't want it stinking up my can."
Amazon has since apologised for the incident. A spokesperson said: "This does not reflect the high standards we have for delivery service providers.
"This individual is no longer delivering Amazon packages and we're in direct communication with the customer."
