Amber Heard couldn't care less about what trolls are saying about the topless photo she shared on social media. She did not even bother to take it down and instead wrote a simple response to defend herself amid claims that it's a distraction from her court trial with Johnny Depp.

"Desperate," "shameful," and "pathetic" are just some of the words used to describe the black-and-white snap of Heard posing topless for Interview Magazine. The said photo was shared on Twitter and it shows the "Aquaman" actress wearing an open blazer and her bare chest is exposed with one nipple peeking out.

The photo is meant to be artistic. However, some still criticised it for being disgusting. Others accused Heard of using the risqué snap to sway the media's attention away from her defamation lawsuit.

Depp has filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife and the trial date is on Feb. 3, 2020. The trial will reportedly run for 12 days. The amount is being sought as payment for moral damages after the actress accused Depp of domestic abuse and he lost his job thereafter from the "Pirates of The Caribbean" franchise.

The 56-year-old actor filed the lawsuit in March, to contradict Heard's abuse claims. Depp's lawyer said her accusations were partly false.

Of course, trolls made sure to remind Heard about her alleged false accusations and of her upcoming trial date.

The snap not only caused some unwanted reactions from netizens regarding Heard's trial. It also caused controversy after someone from lingerie brand Lafilledo complained about it. The woman reportedly rallied her Instagram followers to report the photo and have Instagram remove it because it violates censorship policies.

The complainant voiced out her concerns of the app's double standards because even censored photos of regular people get taken down. Lafilledo does not see why Heard's topless pic should be any different from the rest.

So ladies, if u ever get nipple shamed u can: a) report other women b) try & organize women 2 gang up on other women who r fighting the same fight c) use ANY of that energy 2, i dunno, change the system u think is so unfair 2 begin with. Go #lafillet #lafilledo ! @tilleysong pic.twitter.com/11hinCAqe6

Instagram has not taken any action against the photo so it is still up on Heard's Instagram. As for the complaint, the 33-year-old "Justice League" actress gave sarcastic replies with the hashtags #Lafilledo #NotYourBraNotMyProblem, and "cool cool - love women supporting women!!" She also shamed the complainant online.
