Former America's Next Top Model star YaYa Dacosta has married Joshua Bee Alafia in private ceremony.

The 29-year-old model tied the knot with the independent movie director in an intimate Afrocentric ceremony held outdoors in Pennsylvania.

The stunning bride opted for a strapless, fish tail dress and lei around her neck and her hair braided in an up-do.

While the groom wore a white sleeveless linen suit for the special occasion.

Guests were also dressed in various African inspired outfits.

Dacosta shot to fame after coming runner-up in Cycle 3 of Tiara Bank's TV modelling competition in 2005.

She has since moved into acting and starred in film including Take the lead and In Time.
