Paranoid Android 5.0 brings Lollipop 5.0.2 to Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, OnePlus One and more
Paranoid Android (PA) v5.0 Alpha 1 ROM for Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop) update is now available for download to a raft of Nexus and non-Nexus devices.
Apart from Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7, Nexus 9 and Nexus 10, the PA Lollipop ROM is available for OnePlus One, Oppo Find7, Find7, and Find7s.
Quite disappointingly, the famed Galaxy Nexus line-up has been sidelined for the official Paranoid Android releases, and hence the current Alpha release will not be available for Galaxy Nexus (GSM, Verizon and Sprint) models.
Nevertheless, interested users can check for the latest available PA ROM for their device by going to the download section of developer source page.
The new Lollipop update brings loads of goodies including Material Design, Android Runtime (ART), multi-user support for phones, better battery management, battery saver mode, improved security, new Recents menu, revamped notifications bar and Quick Settings, lockscreen notifications and Smart Lock.
In addition, the Nexus devices will get a slew of exclusive benefits such as improved heads up display, the ability to disable heads up notifications, quick unlock and extended power.
