Android 5.0 Public Release Imminent for First-Gen Moto G Users
After Motorola officially began rolling out the Android 5.0 (Lollipop) OS upgrade to users of its second-gen Moto X and Moto G, the Android 5.0 upgrade will reportedly start rolling out to users of the first-gen Moto G in India starting 14 November, albeit in a soak test custom version.
According to a report published in India Today, Android 5.0 will be seeded to Moto G (2013) users in India, having opted-in to Motorola's Feedback Network Programme.
This means that an Android 5.0 public release rollout is imminent for first-gen Moto G users. So keep checking your devices for the OTA Android 5.0 OS update.
Also, with Moto G considered one of the most popular affordable smartphones in India, an early rollout of Android 5.0 cannot be ruled out.

- Select "Yes, I'm in."
- After the software is downloaded, select "Install now."
- After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.

- Select the Settings icon in the apps menu.
- Select "About phone."
- Select "System updates."
- Select "Yes, I'm in." After the software is downloaded, select "Install now."
