Android 4.1.2 XXDLJ2 Official Test Firmware Leaked for Galaxy Note 2 N7100 [Manually Install]
The Multiview feature can be disabled on Galaxy Note 2 with the Android 4.1.2 XXDLJ2 Jelly Bean update.
Samsung is reportedly testing the Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) firmware for the Galaxy Note 2 and a December or January release is expected. However, an unofficial pre-release version - N7100XXDLJ2 - has been leaked.

Pre-Requisites
Download USB drivers for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and enable USB debugging mode
Ensure back-up of all important data
Ensure battery has at least 80 percent charge
Ensure device is factory unlocked
To Install Android 4.1.2 XXDLJ2 Jelly Bean on Galaxy Note 2 N7100
- Download Android 4.1.2 N7100XXDLJ2 (Jelly Bean) to computer and extract zip file
- Download Odin v1.85
- Switch Note 2 off and re-start in Download Mode (to do so, press Volume Down, Home and Power buttons until Samsung logo or red and yellow text appears on screen
- Start Odin on computer and connect device while in Download Mode (a successful connection is indicated by one of the ID:COM boxes turning yellow with the COM port number
- Select these files in the order mentioned
- Click on PDA and select Code
- Click on Phone and select Modem
- Click on CSC and select CSC
- Click on PIT and select .pit
- Note: Ignore last three steps if such files are not found
- Now click Start in Odin to begin installation (this may take a few minutes)
- After installation, the device will restart (disconnect device only after home screen appears)
- The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100 is now updated with Android 4.1.2 XXDLJ2 (Jelly Bean). This may be verified by browsing to Settings > About Phone.
