Overview
Defending champion Andy Murray's build-up to the Aegon Championships has been overshadowed by the news that he will reunite with Ivan Lendl, the super coach who trained him during his greatest career successes — The Olympic gold, the US Open title in 2012 and the Wimbledon in 2013.
The world number two has not let that affect him though, beating Nicolas Mahut 7-6, 7-6 to reach the second round at the Queens Club, an event which he is trying to win for a record fifth time.
His opponent is fellow countryman and British number two Aljaz Bedebe. The world number 58 is yet to win a title this season, with his record against top-10 opposition being very poor. In fact, he has not yet beaten a member of the top 10 and it does not look likely that he will break that duck against Murray on 16 June.
