Overview
Andy Murray is aiming for his fourth Masters title as he faces David Ferrer in the semi-finals of the Paris Masters. The Briton came through a tough quarter-final match against Richard Gasquet in three sets and will now face the Spaniard, who beat Roger Federer's conqueror John Isner in the last eight. The duo are no strangers to each other's games, as they have faced 16 times since 2006 with Murray having an edge over the lower-ranked Spaniard.
Ferrer, however, has won one title more than Murray this season, but is yet to bag an ATP 1000 title, and will be keen to make it to the final of the Masters Series tournament of the year. The winner will take on either Stan Wawrinka or Novak Djokovic, who play in the second semi-final later in the day.
