Match starts at 3pm BST. Live coverage is on British Eurosport, British Eurosport HD, British Eurosport 2, British Eurosport 2 HD and ITV 4. Real-time internet updates are available on the Roland Garros official website.

Overview

Andy Murray will be looking to build on his 14-match winning run and make it to the semi-finals of the French Open, a feat which he has managed to achieve only twice in his career, but has never made it across to the finals thus far.

The contest in the semi-finals is unlikely to be a walkover given that he will face the winner between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, with the latter in superlative form coming into the tournament. However, Murray can take confidence from his own form in the tournament thus far, as he has dropped only two sets and will be looking at taking advantage of this against Ferrer.

Meanwhile, the seventh seed has also had a brilliant tournament, with his only major stumble coming against Simone Bolelli in the second round, where he was taken to the fifth round by the Italian, winning the second and the third set in impressive fashion. However, Ferrer stepped up the task and dropped only a single game to clinch the next two sets and has not dropped a set since.
