Where to Watch Live
Match is set to start at 11am BST. Live coverage will be available on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD.
Overview
Murray was not in great form over the past few months, losing to Marin Cilic in the final of the Cincinnati Masters, followed by a quarter-final loss to Kei Nishikori at the US Open and a defeat at the hands of Juan Martin del Potro in Great Britain's Davis Cup semifinal against Argentina. However, the Briton is back to winning ways after clinching the China Open without dropping a single set and will be looking to take his new found form into this tournament.
Murray has had some great success in this tournament, having won back-to-back titles in 2010 and 2011, before losing in the final of 2012 to Novak Djokovic. Murray opened his campaign in the Shanghai Masters with a win over USA's Steve Johnson 6-3, 6-2 and the World No 2 will be looking to close the gap at the top.
Pouille is no stranger to pulling off major upsets, having beaten Rafael Nadal in the round of 16 at this year's US Open, where he beat the Spaniard with some incisive attacking play, taking the game to five sets. He has been in brilliant form this season, starting the year at a lowly 78 but is currently at 16, coming into the tournament as the No 13 seed.
Betting Odds (betfair)
- Murray Win: 1/9
- Pouille Win: 11/2
Head to Head
The duo have met only once, in the semifinals of the Rome Masters earlier this year, where Murray beat the Frenchman in straight sets.
