Angelina Jolie furious that Brad Pitt got in touch with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston?
Jolie and Pitt tied the knot in August 2014 after the actor split from Aniston.
Angelina Jolie is reportedly "furious" with husband Brad Pitt after he disclosed that he had "reached out" to ex-wife Jennifer Aniston to offer his condolence following the death of her mother Nancy Dow, who passed away in May at the age of 79.
"It was their first moment in months without the kids or staff around," a source told InTouch magazine. "Angie [Jolie] thought a good one-on-one conversation would enable them to finally catch up on their lives. Then, Brad casually mentioned that he'd reached out to Jen to send his sympathy after her mom passed away in May. He didn't think it was a big deal.
"To Angie, it was akin to Brad dropping a nuclear bomb," the source continued. "She was furious they'd reunited."
In Touch magazine's report comes just days after Gossip Cop debunked an OK! Magazine report claimed that the Fight Club actor and his 41-year-old actress wife were living separate lives.
"They've lost their passion. It's really sad. Romance seems to be at the bottom of their agenda, below career and kids," the source told the magazine. "[If the couple] actually had time to sit down and discuss what's happening ... they'd say the same thing: 'We can't carry on like this.' Their only hope would be if they took a big break from their work to focus on each other," the source added.
Contrary to rumours, Jolie and Pitt were spotted picking up groceries together at a local Los Angeles store on Monday (4 July). The couple were accompanied by children Shiloh, 10, and seven-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Moreover, reports suggest that the two A-listers are living at a rented apartment in London, where Pitt's new film titled, Allied, is being filmed.
Jolie and Pitt tied the knot in August 2014, close to a decade after his split from Aniston.
